Major Projects Planned as Part of the 125th Anniversary Celebration
Book to Update the History of UND - This project is being spearheaded by Jerome Tweton, Professor Emeritus of History. This book will focus on UND since WWII and is intended to serve as a follow-up and complement to University of the Northern Plains by Louis G. Geiger, which was published in 1958 on the occasion of UND' s 75th anniversary.
College/Department/Unit Histories - Histories of UND departments and colleges are being updated and compiled. This effort was last undertaken in conjunction with the University's centennial celebration in 1983.
UND Photo Calendar - A 2008 UND photo calendar will be produced. Featuring the photography of University Photographer Chuck Kimmerle, it will include current photos as well as historic images and narratives.
